Bak Kut Teh is one of the famous chinese dish in Malaysia & Singapore, especially for those pork lovers who love to indulge with heaty meaty meal. Bak Kut Teh literally translates as ‘ meat bone tea’ which consists of pork ribs, lean meat, fat meat, pork belly, intestine, knuckle, simmered in a complex brothof herbs and spices for hours. The additional ingredients may include varieties of mushroom,and pieces of dried tofu or fried tofu puffs, garnishing with chopped parsley.
Bak Kut Teh is usually served with rice, yao char kway (dough fritter) and condiments (soy sauce, cut chillies and chopped garlic). Not to forget to dip the yao char kway into the soup, taste awesome!
I went to this BKT shop at Puchong – Dragon View, which is one of my BKT favourite shop. This shop offers soupy bak kut teh and dried style bak kut teh!! simply delicious! Besides that, they offers side dishes such as stir fried vegetables, steamed fish and stew pork knuckle. Slurp!~~
